What It Does

The pad combines two BWT technologies in one drop-in unit. An ion exchanger reduces the calcium and magnesium that harden into limescale, while integrated activated carbon takes out unwanted tastes and smells, so the water going into your machine is cleaner and the drinks taste truer. A special BWT filter fleece lets water flow through freely, and all the materials are food-safe. It suits any hot-drinks machine with a built-in water tank.

How to Use It

1. Rinse the pad under tap water for a few seconds, straight out of the packaging. No installation needed.
2. Drop it into the bottom of a full water tank.
3. Wait 8 to 10 hours for the water to be treated before using the machine.
4. Replace the pad once you've reached the maximum number of tank refills marked on the packaging, and in any case don't leave it in the tank longer than two months.
