Bold yet refined, it is a coffee to be savoured slowly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eOrigin\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCuba Caracolillo grows in the Escambray mountain range at the heart of Cuba – the Crystal Mountains – in soils rich with mica and quartz. The moderate climate, frequent rains, and mineral-rich earth form an ideal microclimate for coffee, tended by hand in mountainous, forested terrain where the work is demanding. Caracolillo is the peaberry: a small, round bean, shaped like a pea, that makes up less than 2% of the region's harvest – which is exactly what makes this cup so rare.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eRoast\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCuba Caracolillo is roasted using our TAG method – Torrefazione Artigianale Granito, our artisanal single-origin roast. Drawing on more than four decades of expertise in green-bean selection, roasting, and cupping, the TAG roast fully caramelises the beans' natural sugars to unlock their richest, most complex flavours, guided by the hand of our Master Roaster.
