India Mysore Nuggets ranks among India's finest Arabica coffees, a distinctive single-origin known for its vivid lemon and pepper character, good body and bright, lively acidity. Our TAG roast draws out its full, spiced-citrus personality. Freshly roasted on demand in our Montréal facility.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant and expressive, the cup leads with bright lemon and a lively peppery spice, backed by good body and a clean, lifted acidity. It's a bold, aromatic Indian coffee with a distinctive spiced-citrus signature.

Origin

India Mysore Nuggets is grown in the shaded rainforests of the famous Baba Budan mountain range. Sitting just north of the tropics and tempered by the moderating influence of the ocean, the mountain slopes of southwest India enjoy ideal conditions for coffee. According to legend, the pilgrim Baba Budan first brought coffee to India by planting beans from Yemen in the mountains of Mysore. The name "Mysore Nugget" was later coined to distinguish the premium beans produced across the region.

Roast

With over four decades of expertise in green-bean selection, roasting and cupping, our TAG Roast (Torrefazione Artigianale Granito) is crafted to bring out the fullest potential of each single-origin coffee. Through a meticulous process, we achieve the complete caramelization of the beans' sugars, unlocking their rich, complex flavours – the balance of expertise, passion, intuition and the keen insight of our Master Roaster.

Brewing

At its best as a filter or drip coffee at 8 g per 8.5 oz; it also pulls as an espresso at 8 g per 1 oz. Available in multiple grinds to suit your brewing method. Learn about our available roast options.
