Permanent workers are provided with two-room houses, with the estate also covering the maintenance of these dwellings. To ensure the well-being of the workers’ families, no children under the age of 18 are permitted to work, and a dedicated committee oversees that workers' children receive an education. Agrochemical use is strictly minimized and carefully monitored. Cherries are sun-dried to conserve electricity, and wastewater from the washing process is naturally filtered through a series of beds. Additionally, coffee cherry pulp is composted and reused as organic fertilizer.
