Rancilio Barista Kit

The Rancilio Barista Kit brings six espresso tools together in one set, from dosing to cleanup. Designed by Barista-Essentials and selected by Rancilio, it suits a home barista building out a coffee corner as well as a café bar. We carry it alongside our Rancilio Silvia and Rancilio Silvia Pro X espresso machines.

What's Inside

• WDT tool: Fine needles break up clumps and even out the density of ground coffee in the portafilter before tamping, helping to reduce channelling.
• Dosing cup: Measures beans or ground coffee for a single espresso and helps transfer grounds to the portafilter with less mess.
• Tamper: Levels the coffee on one side and tamps it on the other.
• Tamping mat: Steadies your work as you tamp and protects the portafilter and counter from knocks.
• Barista towel: Wipes milk, water and coffee residue from the steam wand, portafilter and work surface.
• Coffee brush: Clears ground coffee from the counter, espresso machine and grinder.

Compatibility

The kit is designed for espresso preparation with a portafilter machine and pairs naturally with a home grinder such as the Rancilio Stile SD. Both sides of the tamping tool unscrew, so you can adjust the depth to suit your coffee dose.

Build Quality

The tamping mat is non-slip rubber, the dosing cup has a heavy base for stability, and the brush combines flexible, moisture-resistant bristles with an ergonomic wooden handle. The WDT tool is light and compact, and it comes with its own support.

Maintenance

The microfibre towel and long-bristled brush help keep your machine, grinder and counter clean between shots. The rubber mat is easy to clean, and the top of the WDT tool unscrews if any needles need replacing.
