Colombie Suprême is a bright, aromatic single-origin Colombian coffee from our Humaniterra Collection, grown by a group of small-scale producers in the South of Huila. Freshly roasted on demand in our Montréal facility using our signature TAG method, it opens with delicate floral notes of lilac and jasmine, layered with vanilla and hazelnut over a medium-to-full body. It is a fragrant, expressive cup, at its best brewed as filter or drip coffee.

Tasting Notes

This is an exceptionally aromatic coffee, led by floral notes of lilac and jasmine. Flavour and acidity come together over a medium-to-full body, with softer notes of vanilla and hazelnut rounding out the cup. Bright, fragrant, and refined, it is a coffee that rewards a careful filter brew.

Origin

Colombie Suprême is grown in the South of Huila, in the municipalities of Isnos, San Agustín, Pitalito, and Acevedo, by a group of small-scale producers committed to organic farming. These growers have worked for years under organic agricultural practices, earning international recognition for the quality and character of their coffee. Their care shows in the cup – clean, complex, and full of aromatic life.

Roast

Colombie Suprême is roasted using our TAG method – Torrefazione Artigianale Granito, our artisanal single-origin roast. Drawing on more than four decades of expertise in green-bean selection, roasting, and cupping, the TAG roast fully caramelises the beans' natural sugars to unlock their richest, most complex flavours. It is a careful, intuitive process, guided by the hand of our Master Roaster to bring out the fullest potential of this single-origin Colombian coffee.

Brewing

For filter or drip coffee, use about 1 tbsp (8 g) of coffee per 8.5 oz (250 ml) of fresh water.
