Espresso Gusto

Espresso Gusto captures the essence of Europe's great café bars in a single cup – a smooth, creamy espresso blend made for the ritual of a proper espresso. Freshly roasted on demand in our Montréal facility, it combines Arabica and Robusta from South America and Asia for a rounded, satisfying cup with gentle nutty notes and a lovely crema. It is an easygoing everyday espresso, equally good as filter or espresso.

Tasting Notes

Espresso Gusto sits at the creamier end of the intensity scale, prized for its smooth, rounded character. Gentle nutty notes lead over a soft, velvety body and a lasting crema, finishing clean and mellow. It is a balanced, approachable espresso that carries milk beautifully and never overwhelms.

Origin

This is a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans sourced from growers across South America and Asia. The Arabica brings smoothness and a nutty sweetness, while a measure of Robusta adds body and the crema that makes it such a natural espresso. Drawing on several origins keeps Gusto rounded and consistent from bag to bag.

Roast

Espresso Gusto is finished at a medium roast, developed to build body and caramelise the beans' natural sugars for a rounder, sweeter cup. As a blend, it carries our Medium Roast designation rather than a single-origin roast profile, keeping the nutty sweetness and creamy texture at the forefront.

Brewing

For espresso, use about 1 tbsp (8 g) of coffee per 1 oz (30 ml) of fresh water. For filter or drip coffee, use 1 tbsp (8 g) per 8.5 oz (250 ml) of fresh water.
