Espresso Milano

Espresso Milano is a smooth, creamy espresso blend inspired by the classic Italian café bar. Freshly roasted on demand in our Montréal facility, it brings together Arabica beans from Central and South America for a rich, well-balanced cup with sweet notes of caramel. It is an elegant everyday espresso – creamy, approachable, and made for the ritual of a proper coffee break.

Tasting Notes

Milano sits at the creamier, more approachable end of the intensity scale. Sweet caramel leads over a smooth, rounded body and a gentle, delicate acidity, finishing clean and mellow. It is a balanced, easy-drinking espresso that carries milk beautifully and never overwhelms.

Origin

This is a blend of 100% Arabica beans sourced from growers across Central and South America. Combining beans from these regions gives Milano its balance and its signature caramel sweetness, along with the smooth body that makes it such a natural espresso. Drawing on several origins keeps the cup consistent and dependable from bag to bag.

Roast

Espresso Milano is finished at a medium roast, developed to build body and caramelise the beans' natural sugars for a rounder, sweeter cup. As a blend, it carries our Medium Roast designation rather than a single-origin roast profile, giving it the creamy, elegant character of a classic Italian espresso.

Brewing

For espresso, use about 1 tbsp (8 g) of coffee per 1 oz (30 ml) of fresh water. For filter or drip coffee, use 1 tbsp (8 g) per 8.5 oz (250 ml) of fresh water.
