Le Montréal

Le Montréal is our signature coffee blend, named for the city we call home – a place known for its creativity and its love of the table. Freshly roasted on demand in our Montréal facility, it brings together grands crus from South America, Asia, and Indonesia into a cup that is rich, complex, and beautifully balanced. It is a coffee made for filter and drip brewing, the kind you linger over on a slow morning.

Tasting Notes

This is a layered, full-flavoured cup that rewards a little attention. A deep, rounded body carries a gentle smokiness from the darker-roasted portion, while the medium-roasted majority keeps everything balanced and smooth. Rich and complex without tipping into heaviness, it is as good black as it is with a splash of cream.

Origin

Le Montréal is a blend of 100% Arabica grands crus drawn from growers across South America, Asia, and Indonesia. Bringing together beans from three distinct regions is what builds the cup's complexity – each origin adds a different layer of aroma, body, and depth. The result is a balanced, dependable coffee that tastes like more than the sum of its parts.

Roast

Le Montréal is built from two roast levels: 80% medium roast and 20% dark roast. The medium roast builds body and caramelises the beans' natural sugars for sweetness and balance, while the smaller share of dark roast adds a smoky depth and a bolder edge. Together they give the blend its rich, layered character without losing its easy drinkability.

Brewing

For filter or drip coffee, use about 1 tbsp (8 g) of coffee per 8.5 oz of fresh water.
